ANT CEO Presents the Power of the User Interface on Entertainment Devices and Services at IPTV 2007

ANT plc (AIM: ANTP), the leading provider of digital TV client and consumer electronic solutions and services, announced today that CEO Simon Woodward will discuss how the user interface has the power to make or break a service or device during his upcoming presentation at IPTV 2007, produced by S2 Data Corporation, 27 - 28 February at the Doubletree Hotel in San Jose, California.
 
Entitled 'Make or Break? The Power of the User Interface on Entertainment Devices and Services,' Woodward’s presentation takes place on Wednesday, 28 February at 11 a.m. in the Oak Ballroom. The presentation will examine the importance of the user interface and describe a concept that can offer the dynamic user interface operators want and the impact that this has on both content developers and consumers.
 
Today's TV Operators are seeing a growing demand for personalised services and content with on-demand applications like video on demand and digital video recording. These services are redefining consumer viewing habits. Increasingly, consumers now want to access all their media content across a wide range of devices in a consistent manor with the ability to share it with friends and family. Additionally, content developers are faced with the challenge of developing content that will be viewed and interacted with across a wide range of different devices. Clearly, the user interface has the power to make or break a service or device.
