ANT Licenses ANT Galio Client to Scientific Atlanta

ANT plc (AIM:ANTP), the specialist provider of embedded software for the digital interactive TV and consumer electronics market announces that it has signed a licensing and distribution agreement with Scientific Atlanta, a Cisco company. Under the agreement, ANT will supply ANT Galio Client (the advanced television application management software including the ANT Galio browser software) as well as its ANT Fresco browser and the Alcatel IPTV OMC client for incorporation within models of Scientific Atlanta's IPTV set-top boxes.

ANT Galio Client is a state-of-the-art modular software platform on which to create and deploy products and services delivering convergence and consistency across a broad range of device types from zapper set-top boxes to high-definition hybrid IP/DVB solutions with integrated PVR to hand held wireless media devices and home connectivity.
