Enhance the TV experience

When rolling out TV services, operators are frequently challenged with the need to rapidly develop a stable, reliable platform whilst at the same time being driven by the consumer to produce compelling and dynamic content.

The ANT Content Developer Kit (CDK) complements the power and flexibility of the ANT Galio Platform with a comprehensive set of tools, guides and tutorials. Available for both Windows and Linux systems, it enables rapid development of applications and services for deployment on a target TV platform, delivering significant time-to-market advantages and cost savings.

ANT CDKTHE CHALLENGES
  • Reduce development time of TV applications and services
  • Simplify product design and development
  • Test the target system’s performance during development
  • Ensure solutions will behave as intended when deployed
  • View content on a target device as it’s written

ANT CDKTHE SOLUTION
  • Use powerful debug features to pinpoint errors in real time
  • View the document tree and trace the application hierarchy
  • Chart memory usage in real time
  • Run and control applications “on target”
  • Set conditional break points to capture intermittent events
  • Ignore non-critical stops in scripts
  • Emulate user interaction with a virtual remote control or keyboard

ANT CDKWHAT IS THE ANT CONTENT DEVELOPER KIT?
The ANT Content Developer Kit (CDK) is a powerful interactive tool for TV application developers that greatly assists them in developing, testing, debugging and optimising their applications. Executing on a Windows or Linux desktop PC, and running a dedicated protocol over a TCP socket, the ANT Galio CDK can connect with both target platforms and simulator platforms (“on target” and “off target”).
