The ANT Galio family consists of a range of powerful, standards-based products. A browser and presentation engine, a unique middleware client, a range of core TV applications and companion device capability all of which supports rich, dynamic user interface designs for a variety of media based applications. All ANT products are designed to support the leading TV standards and depending on configuration are fully compliant with the HbbTV, UK Freesat and UK Freeview standards plus most underlying TV industry standards.

ANT Galio Browser

The ANT Galio Browser is the culmination of over 15 years of experience in providing multimedia services for leading TV deployments worldwide. The ANT Galio Browser transforms user interface design with an advanced, dynamic software engine providing superior presentation and control for next-generation TV Applications, web browsing and enhanced interactive services. ANT Galio Browser can be deployed as an element of a bespoke solution or as an integrated element of the ANT Galio Platform.

ANT Galio Client

The ANT Galio Client middleware provides an advanced control and management framework for media devices making the ANT Galio Client the first choice when deploying today's visually rich and highly interactive multimedia services. From TV channel aggregation, PVR system management and device stream management to standards implementation and companion device support, this rich client middleware is a complete solution for any TV device platform. ANT Galio Platform, combining the ANT Galio Client with the ANT Galio Browser, simplifies access to all types of media resources, enabling operators and service providers to deploy new services rapidly and safe in the knowledge that they will work on any device using the ANT Galio Platform.

ANT Galio Client - Territory Specific Extensions

ANT provides a range of optional middleware modules to match specific requirements. In partnership with Pixsan Digital Software Ltd, the ANT Galio client is extended to include full DVB, DSMCC and MHEG software stacks. The additional elements are mature, standards compliant products for Digital Terrestrial, Digital Satellite and Digital Cable set-top box and Integrated Digital Television (iDTV) systems. This pre-integrated solution is ideal for ODM/OEM devices offering a rapid time-to-market solution for the global market.

ANT Galio Core Applications

ANT Galio Core Applications offer flexibility and rich functionality supported by the widely deployed ANT Galio Platform. The ANT Galio Core Applications can be easily customised to suit the service being delivered by incorporating one of a choice of available user interface 'skins', by designing a new style to match existing branding, or by changing the underlying functionality to integrate with existing applications in specific deployments. ANT Galio Core Application functionality already supports the functional requirement of such free-to-air standards as UK Freesat and Freeview as well as being used in a number of global pay TV environments.

ANT Galio Move

Designed for use with iOS and Android tablets and smart phones ANT Galio Move is a TV companion application that significantly extends the capability of the TV or STB. ANT Galio Move allows users to take the TV experience anywhere in the home by streaming live and recorded content directly from the TV device via Wi-Fi to their companion device. It identifies what is being viewed on the main TV screen and presents a programme synopsis while listing what is currently showing on the other channels. Navigating the EPG, managing recordings and changing channel are all natural, rapid and intuitive through this touch screen user experience. The user interface of ANT Galio Move can be customised in the same way as the ANT Galio Core Applications to meet the specific needs of a TV device vendor.
