provide hands on knowledge transfer to ensure the best possible results.

A key objective of ANT’s Implementation Services is to reduce the time it takes to get a product to
market. Workshops offer a unique opportunity for customer engineers to work with the ANT team
together, face-to-face, to streamline the integration process. ANT has expertise throughout the
value chain; with in-house Browser, Client, Application and User Experience specialists ANT is able
to provide expert advice on all aspects of integration from the development of a new product to the
end user experience. By reducing time to market our customers are able to substantially reduce
their costs and maximise profits.
Engineering Collaboration
An important factor contributing to the success of the ANT Implementation Services Workshops is that they are developed and run by engineers, for engineers. A common “engineering language” is found. This collaborative approach creates a synergy between the teams. With on-site workshops at ANT’s headquarters in Cambridge, England, our customers have access to every area of ANT’s software development team who otherwise would not be readily available. participate in knowledge transfer, working together towards a successful integration. From
experience we have found that workshop collaboration early in the project significantly reduces time
to market and often helps strengthen a partnership. Post workshop, our engineers frequently
observe a significant improvement in communication and problem solving once they have been able
to put a ‘face to the name’ and get to know the person behind the email address.

Customer Case Study 1
This ANT Galio customer was at an early stage of their project with a basic port of the software complete. ANT was asked to prepare a workshop to help deliver an HbbTV demonstration for an upcoming trade show. After the 5 day workshop the customer had successfully connected their STB to a live satellite feed, was able to watch live satellite TV channels, change channel using the zapper, display the EPG with live data, control settings and configuration, launch red button applications and access the ANT Portal. In this workshop the customer especially benefitted from access to the ANT Product Team Leaders, CTO, Senior Architects and unusually for a project in its infancy – access to our test and support team to provide immediate feedback on project developments.
Customer Case Study 2 In this workshop the customer was at an advanced stage of their project, the key objective was to solve high level integration issues and problem solving to meet imminent deadlines. ANT was able to support the customer in using their own applications combining a standard browser port with advanced client integration.
Customer Case Study 3 This customer requested a workshop to gain a stronger understanding of ANT’s software. The ANT team were able to train and
educate the customer to help them with future projects. This knowledge transfer continues to prove beneficial to the customer as
those who attended the workshop were able to share their knowledge with their colleagues too.
